WEEE Care, the social enterprising arm of Women Empowered for Entrepreneurial Excellence. Our initiatives focus on engagement strategies with culturally relevant messaging, and the coordination of vaccination clinics to improve individual and neighborhood health outcomes. We rely on data driven insights about neighborhoods – where people live, worship and play to increase knowledge, ultimately shifting attitudes and cultural norms to produce changes in health behaviors and effect positive results. Our results underscore our commitment to addressing health disparities and advancing the health and well-being of marginalized populations in Allegheny and Beaver Counties Pennsylvania.
WEEE Care was born out of a deep-seated passion during the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Witnessing the stark health disparities in marginalized communities, we felt a compelling need to act. Our commitment to addressing these disparities became the driving force behind our non-profit’s social enterprise.
At WEEE Care, we are currently dedicated to organizing community-based vaccination clinics throughout Allegheny County and the surrounding areas. Our work is to bring essential vaccination services directly to underserved populations, ensuring that everyone has equitable access to healthcare. We believe in the power of public health initiatives to transform lives and uplift communities.
